At the present moment, the most wanted small pet in WoW is the pretty Phoenix Hatchling. You will not see many of them around, because this bird is almost as rare as it's beautiful. And, just as its name implies, this bird looks like it's on fire.
Although the Phoenix Hatchling is rare, it's not that difficult to obtain. It's just that people don't go searching for it.
Level Requirements
First of all, not everybody can obtain this bird. You have to be at least at level 70, because that's what it takes to enter the dungeon "Magister's Terrace" at the Isle of Quel'Danas, where the pet can be found.
The Phoenix Hatchling drops about 7% of the time, after you kill the fourth and final boss-Kael'Thas Sunstrider. But you could get lucky, of course. I was. Wewere but a group of four people available for this five person instance, and the bird dropped. "We all" needed "it, and I won it for my level 80 hunter.
Of our group, two were level 80 's, and two level 77. Since we'd never done this instance before we died a few times.
You can take the dungeon either in normal haired, fallen blood elf, is the first boss that you'll encounter. Kill him as fast as you can and destroy the crystals around him, or else he'll siphon mana from them. For our group, he was a fast and easy kill.
Vexallusâ (the second boss) is a Voidwraith infused with arcane energy. You should kill all the Mana wyrms first, and then quicklyattack him while you still have the buff from them. Our group died here, because our tank was a little too slow to attack and, when we came back, the Mana wyrms hadn't respawned. The second time, though, we killed the boss easily enough.
Priestess Delrissa is the third boss. She randomly chooses four helpers, each with their own unique abilities, and you must kill all five, including Delrissa. We went for the healers first, and then this boss wasn't too hard to beat.
The final boss, Kael'Thas Sunstrider, is more of a challenge. After a short while he will make a phoenix spawns, who will then attack the player with the highest global threat. Make sure to kill it quickly, and then destroy the egg that as_snowy when the phoenix dies.
